  • Booking details: service selected, appointment date and time, and the notes you provide.
  • Health information you choose to share during a consultation.
  • Consent records, including whether you opted in to SMS reminders and when.
  • Technical data such as device type and log data used to keep the service secure.

3. How we use your information

  • To arrange, deliver and follow up on your consultations.
  • To send transactional messages and appointment reminders you have consented to.
  • To maintain your booking history and care plans in your account.

4. SMS and mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

SMS reminders are optional. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by emailing support@apostlecare.co.uk. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies.

5. Legal bases

We rely on contract (to provide the consultation you booked), consent (for SMS reminders and optional communications), legitimate interests (service security and improvement), and legal obligation (clinical and financial record keeping). Health information is processed on the basis of your explicit consent and for the provision of health care.

6. Sharing

We share personal data only with service providers that help us operate — secure hosting, database, email and SMS delivery — under written agreements that limit their use of the data to our instructions. We never sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party marketing. Where you ask us to refer you onward, we share only what is necessary and only with your agreement.

7. Retention and security

Consultation records are retained for as long as required by professional and legal obligations, then securely deleted. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to authorised personnel.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise a right, email support@apostlecare.co.uk. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

9. Children

Accounts are for adults aged 18 and over. Consultations involving a child are booked and attended by a parent or legal guardian.
